News
2010:
-Happy birthday B-litter, Betty, Emma, Jero, Mano, Nelson, Neo and Pessi!! Kira has unfortunately already gone to rainbow bridge this summer...
-Susi turned 11 years !! Congratulations Susi ! She got to eat her favorite cake :-)
-Just before midsummer we visited canine blood bank with Mio and Mosse, their blood tests were all fine :-)
- Nitro and Ronja celebrated their birthdays in the beginning of May, Nitro is now 3 and Ronja turned already 7 years! -Puppies are expected in Kennel Lumisuden in the end of May. More information here.
-Mano´s official elbow and hip results came from finnish kennel club: elbows 0/0 and hips C/C
Our Mini and Mosse turn today, 1st of April, 4 years old :-) Congratulations to Sara-sister and Luca-brother as well !!
- Brave little white shepherd boy, Saku, came to Finland on 14th of March. Saku is living with Päivi and Tapio Piri in Jääli together with two other white shepherds :-)
- Mio´s eyes were examined for the second time on 24th of February and everything looks ok :-)
-Mio turned 5 years already. We celebrated with our traditional "liver casselore cake" :-)
2009:

-On 7th August we visited canine blood bank again. They really needed more blood, so all of our tested dogs, Mio, Ronja and Mosse were with us. The dogs were pretty tired afterwards because of the medication ...
-Susi 10-years old 26/6/09!!
Mosse´s eyes, knees and heart were examined and everything seems to be fine :-)

-29th March we took our dogs Ronja and Mosse to donate samples to canine genebank; During this week we also got the results from the bloodbank of the dogs: Ronja´s bloodtype is appropriate for blood donation and both dogs are fine according to their bloodtest results :-)) -Ronja and Mosse visited the canine bloodbank today and they were tested for their bloodtypes. Hopefully they will be appropriate for donating blood....
Puppies excpected in Kennel Lumisuden (Tähti x Mio) :-))) on week 14
I gave up my ownership for Kira, because she is not going to be used in breeding due to her poor hip results. Kira lives in Kennel Vanzants and you can still follow how she is doing from her own page
-Today we visited the University Animal Hospital with our Mio for blood donation. Mio´s blood type is appropriate for this and we tend to do this every half a year. Mio seemed to be a bit horrified about the big needle, so it was better to give him some tranquillisers at first ;-)
-Lumisuden Onnen Tähti has been mated with our Mio and puppies are expected during the week 14. More information on Kennel Lumisuden website
-The official results of our Mosse and Kira came from finnish kennel club: Mosse´s hips C/B, elbows 0/0, Kira´s hips unfortunately only D/D and elbows 0/1, Kira´s eyes were healthy. Mosses eyes will be examined during this spring.

* Kira and Mano (litter of Rose x Mundo, 2007) have done very well in the shows, more of the results in their own pages
* Five puppies of the litter of Rose x Mundo (born 8th of August 2008) participated in a big puppy show in Helsinki, Kaapelitehdas 2nd March 2008. Results for males: Rocky Bottom´s Be Good, males 5-7 months, 2.place,Prize of honour; Rocky Bottom´s Beastie Boy, males 5-7 months, 1.place, Prize of honour, 2. place in best male; Rocky Bottom´s Bigfoot, males 5-7 months, 3. place. And the results for females: Rocky Bottom´s BeatyQueen, females 5-7months 1.place, Prize of honour, Best female, Best of Opposite sex; Rocky Bottom´s Betty Boob, females 5-7 months 2. place, Prize of honour. Breeder class: 2.place, Prize of honour.
2007: * Mio´s show results from Kokkola 18th of August: Excellent, 2. in open class and 3. in best male, ResCAC; And from Heinola 19th of August: Excellent, 1. place in open class and 3. in best male. * Mio´s results from Helsinki group1 dog show: judge: Linda Jurgens, Estonia, judgement: Excellent, best male in open class, 2. in best male, ResCAC *Rose´s puppies were born on 8th of August, 3 females and 5 males, more information on the puppy page * We are expecting puppies from the combination: Rose Lion of the Heart of Lothian & Longfield Mundo de Lothian in the beginnig of August; more info on the puppy page * Mio´s result from national show in Porvoo 8th July: excellent, 2.place in intermediate class, 4th place in best male * Our dear Nero-Dobermann passed away 8th July, he was 11 years old. Nero will always have a special place in our hearts *Rocky Bottom´s Actionman "Luca" got his official hip and elbow results from the Finnish Kennel club: HD A/A & ED 0/0 * Mio has sired a litter wih Kennel Weissen Lindenhof Amanda; the result was 9 puppies, 3 females and 6 males, born on 11th of June * Rose´s show results: International Aptus Show Helsinki 19th May 2007, judge: Eva Moismann, Switzerland, excellent, best female in intermediate class, 4. place in best female * Mio´s results from the spring: Hamina, 13th May 2007, Judge: Hilkka Salohalla, 1. place in open class, very good; International Aptus Show Helsinki 19th May, judge: Eva Moismann, Switzerland, excellent, 1. in open class, best male, best of opposite sex, CAC
2006:
* Mio´s show results from EW show in Helsinki: very good
*Mio´s show result in Järvenpää 28/5/2006: Excellent, 2. in his class and resCAC
* Mio and Rose were in an international Aptus Show 21/5/2006 in Helsinki. Mio had very good, 1. in his class and Rose got excellent, best female in junior class. In addition,Rose was the best junior of the breed in Royal Canin Junior-competition.
* Nero-Dobermann 10 years 15/5/2006!!!
* We finally got our kennel name "Rocky Bottom´s"
* Show results form an international show in Lappeenranta: Mio had very good, 2. in his class, Ronja got very good and was first in open class females and Rose got prize of honour and was the best puppy of the breed.
* Mio`s official hip and elbow results: hips A/A, elbows 0/0. Eyes were also healthy.
* In Lahti 15.1.2006 (show for group 1 & 2 dogs) Mio got excellent and Ronja very good judgement
* Mio got very good judgements from his first international shows in Jyväskylä and Helsinki
* Väinö´s elbow and hip results came - hips B/A & elbows 0/2
* White Shepherd Rose arrived to Finland on 24th of September
* 13th of September 2005 Susi passed her BH-test , next we will test her character and continue obedience training
